History

Jonathan started his journey into woodworking when he was 12 years old. He disobeyed his dad and as punishment he had to make his own paddle in his grandpa's workshop. That paddle now hangs above the doorway to his woodworking shop.

In 2010

Jonathan began his professional career working as a geologist for the United States Environmental Protection Agency and private engineering firms. In between jobs, he attended his first formal woodworking course at the Chicago School of Woodworking. After finishing his first solo project, a spalted birch and cherry blanket chest, the idea of making woodworking a profession was born.

In 2019

With the support of his wife, Hannah, Jonathan left his job and attended the Charleston Woodworking School. After graduating in 2020, he began his career designing and building furniture.

Personalized Approach

We understand that a piece of furniture is

a story. We take the time to get to know you, what you want, and tailor the design based on our expertise and your vision.

Whether the wood is from your childhood dining room table or from a 30-year old horse stall, a quality piece of furniture speaks for itself and is as unique as the individual.
